Ascend Marketing has been named a finalist in the B2B Branding and B2C Social Media categories at the 2019 DFW AMA Marketer of the Year Awards.
B2B Branding: The CMI Group Brand Refresh
The B2B Branding opportunity involved creating a vibrant and progressive brand for The CMI Group, a 34-year-old B2B company that specializes in contact center and receivables management. Ascend Marketing helped The CMI Group successfully adopt the rebrand and apply new messaging across all digital and traditional media channels, including the website, social media, email marketing, trade shows and event marketing, collateral, promotional materials and buildings.
The CMI Group expanded its corporate offices to three locations in Plano, Coppell and downtown Dallas at the end of 2018, increasing to nearly 90,000 square feet of operating space companywide. Each building now has new messaging and branding that inspires hundreds of employees to do great work and continue building strong relationships with their clients.
B2C Social Media: SMU Social Media Takeover
The Ascend team was also recognized in the B2C Social Media category for teaming up with SMU Professional & Online to perform a three-day social media takeover of SMU’s accounts, providing 52 real-time updates about the Summit sessions on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
By sharing exclusive updates, using professional photography and Facebook live video streaming, asking intriguing questions and posting thought-provoking quotes from the sessions, the Ascend Team achieved extraordinary reach and engagement for organic content.
The campaign generated 29,505 organic impressions, yielding an unprecedented 11 times viewership per follower. We also quadrupled our engagement-per-follower goal, achieving an overall 44.4% engagement per follower rate.
